Penn Fire Station #14

13960 Jackson Rd. Mishawaka, IN 46544 – 574-255-5075Station #14 is located just South of the US 20 Bypass at the corner of Jackson Rd and Elm Rd. This station location provides faster response times due to its proximity to the US 20 Bypass and Capital Avenue.This station serves as the Headquarters of the Penn Twp. Fire Department, and houses a rescue engine, tanker, reserve engine, reserve ambulance, the shift commander and a grass rig.  In addition, this station has offices for the Fire Chief and other Chief Officers as well as a large classroom.

Penn Fire Station #13

13750 McKinley Highway, Mishawaka, IN 46545 574-255-2690Station 13 is located on McKinley Highway between Currant Rd. and Capital Avenue. This station has a predominant mix of residential and commercial response area. This station also responds to incidents on several miles of the St. Joseph River.Station #13 houses a rescue engine, a pumper tanker, grass rig and boat as well as Penn Twp Medic 13.  This station is slated to be replaced in the next couple years and moved to McKinley Highway just west of Nursery St. which is more in the center of the response district.

Penn Fire Training Facility

The Apple Road Training Facility serves the fire and rescue training needs of the Penn Twp. Fire Department.  On this site Penn Fire maintains an extrication pad, several training props as well as 3 cargo containers that have been converted into a burn tower.  In addition Engine 13 is housed here and is used as a Training Engine as well as a Reserve Engine or can be used by off-duty members responding from home.
